As our partners are used to, the presence of the Rofert Romania team in the field is inevitable to check the condition of the crops.

As our partners are used to, the presence in the field is inevitable in making important decisions, each soil has its specifics, therefore all recommendations must be adapted to the needs of the plant depending on the crop and soil.

Following the visit to the rapeseed field of the Tehnoplant Cereal farm, together with Mr. Corniță Georgian, we identified the following needs of the plants:

 In that soil, the soil analysis revealed a quantity of 60 kg/ha of phosphorus available to plants, so no more complexes were applied in autumn. As we well know, there must always be a nutritional balance. Excess phosphorus can decrease, even block the absorption of zinc, which is an essential trace element for all plants for its benefits. Another observation noted in the field was the violet color found on the leaves, which may be due to the blocking of phosphorus in the soil due to low temperatures, but may also represent the defense system of the plants against unfavorable climatic conditions, in the present situation the variations of temperature. In making decisions related to plant nutrition, we must also take into account the specific consumption of each crop and the export of nutrients from the preceding plant.

 Every decision is important, from choosing the hybrid/variety to the time to harvest, in that soil being LG genetics.

 Another important link in the management of a crop is the fight against diseases and pests. As we well know, rapeseed has a large number of diseases and pests that we must keep under control in order to achieve the maximum yield of each hybrid/variety.
