ÎOn 04/07/2022, the #Rofert Romania team went out in the field to check the condition of the wheat crops, biological category Basic from the portfolio of our partner #RouaSeminte.
Thus, following the visit to our customers in the area of Ceatalchioi, Tulcea county, the following were found:
Vegetative stage: emergence of the first internode
Degree of weeding: less than 1%
Pests: No pests were identified, neither airborne nor plant attack
Foliar diseases: Septoria was identified, in its early stage.
Other observations: Both in these 3 varieties of wheat and in the other varieties sown in the area, necrosis was observed at the level of the plants, respectively at the tip of the leaves, caused by the temperature fluctuations of the last period, and the sandblasting effect produced by the wind that engages the sand particles.
Growth tips: They are healthy
Soil: at soil level it was found that the layer of moisture is visible from 3 - 4 cm down
Root system: the plant has a strong root system, having a developed, deep and highly branched root system in the control zone 5 - 30 cm (the strongly rooted plant has the ability to exploit a larger volume of soil, which means a capitalization of water and nutrients)
